Through the leadership of Mayor Francis Garcia and Vice Mayor Vianca Venzon- Gozon, another program from the Department of Agriculture benefited farmers in Balanga City.

Three million pesos fertilizer assistance was distributed to 600 farmers in the City. Each farmer received P4,000 for fertilizer recently. Garcia and Venzon-Gozon aim to boost the city’s agriculture program for the year 2024.

The city government has been encouraging community vegetable farming. The top two city leaders hatched the program feting farmers dubbed. “. Magsasaka” recognizing the contribution of local farmers to community development.
